Welcome to the website of Maude Atlas Art ("Maude," "we," "us"). The site shares Maude's portfolio and sells original art and related products. By visiting or buying from the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Using the site

You may browse the site and buy from the shop for personal, lawful purposes. Please don't misuse the site, try to break or overload it, scrape it, or use it to send spam or harmful code.

2. Copyright and artwork

All artwork, photographs, text, graphics and other content on this site are the property of Maude Atlas Art and protected by copyright. All rights are reserved.

  • You may share a link to the site, or share images on social media with credit to Maude Atlas Art and a link back, as long as you don't alter them.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, edit, sell, print, use for AI training or otherwise exploit any artwork or content without written permission.

  • Buying a piece of art or a print gives you ownership of that physical item only. It does not transfer copyright or the right to reproduce the image, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Shop purchases

  • Pricing and availability. Prices are listed in USD. Original works are one of a kind and are sold on a first-come basis. We may cancel and refund an order if an item turns out to be unavailable or a pricing error occurred.

  • Payment. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment processor. Sales tax is added where required.

  • Color and appearance. Screens vary, so the colors, texture and scale of a piece may look slightly different in person.

  • Shipping. We ship anywhere in the US. Estimated times are not guarantees. Delivery delays are often caused by carriers. Customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.

  • Returns. All sales of original artwork are final. If your order arrives damaged, email maudeatlasart@gmail.com within 7 days with photos and we will make it right.

4. Commissions

If Maude agrees to a custom piece, the scope, price, timeline and deposit will be confirmed in writing before work begins. Unless stated otherwise in that agreement, Maude keeps the copyright in commissioned work and may show it in her portfolio.

5. Contact forms and user messages

What you send us through forms or email is used as described in our Privacy Policy. Please don't send anything confidential or unlawful.

6. Third-party links and services

The site is built on Squarespace and may link to social media, payment processors or other outside sites. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices.

7. Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Descriptions of artwork, including sizes and materials, are given in good faith, and small variations are normal for handmade work.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Maude Atlas Art is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version, and continued use of the site means you accept the changes.
